OUR WORK STEPS
- The client briefly introduces themselves and the nature of their matter.
- This could be performed over a call or via email. The CRM (client relationship manager) responds to these calls. Based on client’s introduction and the nature of the matter the firm the CRM will suggest the appropriate counsel for further and detailed consultation.
CRM is not authorized to offer legal advice but only to understand the nature of matter.
CRM sets up meetings with the lawyer based on their schedule and what works best for the client. The consultation can take place over the phone or in person. During the consultation, the client shares information about the situation. Based on what he or she has learned, the lawyer suggests possible solutions and next steps.
Depending on which option is chosen, there are talks about costs and figuring out when things might happen. After that, a formal retainer advice is sent to the client to explain the rules of engagement and cover the recourses.
After reading the retainer advice, the client makes a formal request for services and signs a retainer agreement, either online or physically.
